At Reach University, we are committed to maintaining an academic environment that is free from gender or sexual discrimination so members of the Reach University community can fully access and benefit from the University's programs and activities.

Title IX and Non-Discrimination Policy

Reach University does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX, including in admission and employment. 

Reach University adheres to all federal, state, and local civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination in employment and education. As a recipient of federal financial assistance for education activities, Reach University is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 to ensure that all of its education programs and activities do not discriminate on the basis of sex. Reach University also prohibits retaliation against any person opposing discrimination or participating in any discrimination investigation or complaint process, internal or external to the institution. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking are forms of sex discrimination, which are prohibited under Title IX and by university policy. Harassment or discrimination on the basis of any other classification protected by law is prohibited under university policy. Any member of the university community, guest, or visitor who acts to deny, deprive, or limit the educational, employment, or social access, opportunities and/or benefits of any member of the Reach University community on the basis of sex or other protected class status, is in violation of the Title IX and Non-Discrimination Policy. Any person may report sex discrimination, age, disability, national origin, race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other classification protected by applicable law, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator below.

If an individual reports sexual harassment to a Reach employee who is a mandatory reporter, the mandatory reporter must make a report of alleged sexual harassment to the Title IX Coordinator. All full-time Reach University employees are mandatory reporters. Any report to a mandatory reporter must be disclosed to the Title IX Coordinator.

Contractors, including contracted instructors, are not mandatory reporters. However, even individuals who are not mandatory reporters are required to provide the Title IX Coordinator’s contact information to anyone who discloses a potential incident or pattern of behavior.

Individuals may also contact the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights with Title IX questions. (Please note that inquiries to OCR alone are not sufficient to allow appropriate responsive action by Reach University. To ensure your concern is appropriately addressed under this Policy, please file a report with the University’s Title IX Coordinator (contact information listed above).
