Job-embedded learning to fill teacher pipeline

Written by Reach University | Feb 3, 2023 5:00:00 AM
Author Jeff Selingo's most recent white paper examines strategies of how American universities and colleges can compete in an era of "always on, anywhere learning," and how best for educators and employers to align to meet labor market needs.
In part of its solutions, the white paper highlights "earn and learn apprenticeships" and a case study of Reach University's teacher apprenticeship degree model. "Job-embedded learning fills the need for teachers" showcases how this model overcomes many of traditional higher ed's most significant challenges, such as affordability, inclusivity, and the forced choice between a job and a degree.
